Mental Health Counseling and Psychotherapy for Children, Adolescents, & Teens in Georgia
I specialize in working with young children and adolescents using play and expressive therapy techniques. I am a client-centered therapist, believing each individual possesses unique strengths which can be highlighted and utilized in therapy. I utilize play, art, sand tray, and other creative interventions to allow for expression of feelings and emotions in children.
As a therapist to children, I can help children increase self-esteem, develop appropriate coping skills, decrease angry or anxious behaviors, and learn self-control while nurturing their creativity. As a therapist to individuals, I can help clients decrease anxiety and depression symptoms, work through difficult periods in their lives, and cultivate hope for their future.
I have experience working with children as young as infants and their parents, as well as adults.
I truly care about each family and individual that steps into my office and enjoy helping my clients achieve overall wellbeing. Let’s work together to develop insight into thoughts, feelings, and habits to promote healthy thought patterns and increase healthy coping strategies.
