Are you a parent or a young adult? I work with adolescents, young adults, and families.
Are you fully content with the life you or your family are living?
My guess is probably not. Everyone has something in their lives they wish were different or better. Some people respond to these desires by working towards their goals or accepting their current situations. However, many find it difficult to regulate their emotions, tolerate distress, interact with others, or identify their values amidst hopelessness and disappointment.

I believe that by embracing the dialectic of acceptance and change, you can learn to love yourself, change your behaviors, and build a life worth living. Let’s start discovering your potential and meeting your goals!
Depression, Suicidal Ideation, and Self Harm
You might want to throw in the towel, give up on life, and avoid the pain altogether. It might feel impossible for things to change, so why bother? These thoughts aren’t exclusive to adults; even adolescents, despite their age, can feel hopeless, isolated, and defeated. However, you do have the potential to create meaningful and lasting change. Utilizing evidence-based treatment, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, we’ll build tools to increase emotional stability and build healthy relationships.
Mood Disorders and Personality Disorder
You or your child might be more sensitive to feeling emotions, experience disproportional emotional intensity, and need a long period of time to return to a “baseline” emotional state. Bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, or other mood disorders create barriers to regulate emotions. By creating skills, increasing awareness, and finding sources of pain, I can help you or your child manage these symptoms more effectively.
Trauma, Anxiety, or Disordered Eating
While some people respond to emotional pain with intense emotions, others try to push away their feelings. You or your child might avoid situations that trigger painful feelings and experiences. Maybe you’re grasping for control and find confidence in knowing you can control what you eat – and what you don’t. Together we can work towards facing fears and challenging negative beliefs by increasing emotional openness and vulnerability.
Teen and Adolescent Therapy
Taking the first step to get help for yourself is already difficult; helping your child willingly accept help is even harder! Teens might be resistant to therapy because of past therapy experiences or potential reactions from their peers. If there’s any treatment resistance, I’m the clinician for you! My passion, humor, and genuineness provide a unique experience tailored to each patient’s personality and needs.
DBT Individual Therapy, Skills Coaching, and Skills Classes
Do you want more treatment than “typical” weekly therapy? Our adherent DBT treatment model provides more support for you or your child. When enrolled in our DBT program, you’ll have access to skills classes that provide social and emotional skills, individual therapy that aligns with the skills classes, and phone calls or texts to a clinician to help implement skills at home.
