I specialize in working with young children and adolescents using play and expressive therapy techniques. I am a client-centered therapist, believing each individual possesses unique strengths which can be highlighted and utilized in therapy. As a therapist to children, I can help children increase self-esteem, develop appropriate coping skills, decrease angry or anxious behaviors, and learn self-control while nurturing their creativity. As a therapist to adults, I can help clients decrease anxiety and depression symptoms, work through difficult periods in their lives, and cultivate hope for their future.
Here you will find information about our counseling services.
During your DBT Initial Intake Appointment, we will meet, discuss your needs, review your history and paperwork, and determine together whether DBT is a fit for you.
DBT is designed to help clients regulate their mood, control impulses, increase assertiveness, and tolerate distress.
